Banana & Cranberry Jam
INGREDIENTS
280g Cranberries
500g of mashed banana
1600g sugar
350ml water
15ml (1 tbsp) lemon juice
½ bottle Certo
METHOD
- Simmer the cranberries in the water for 10 minutes or until the skins have softened.
- Add the mashed banana, sugar, and lemon juice, stir well and heat to the boil.
- Bring to a full rolling boil, and boil for one minute.
- Remove from the heat and stir in the Certo
- If desired, test a small sample for a set. If not sure, you can boil rapidly for a minute or two before potting up.
